Eater announced it’s annual list of Young Guns, representing the top up-and-coming talent in the food and beverage industry, and was covered by some of the winner’s hometown press. Eater feted the group with a party and menu of tastings from each of winner at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica.
Apple, at the WWDC, previewed the company’s new app -- called News -- which includes content from Vox Media’s Vox.com, The Verge, Polygon, SB Nation, Eater, and Racked. The news was covered widely by business press, including CNN.com, Wall Street Journal, New York Times and more.

Racked reported that J.Crew had laid off 10% of its staff, a scoop that was picked up by numerous business and fashion outlets including CNN Money, CNBC, Quartz, Buzzfeed, and Newsweek.
