Vox Media in the News: Week of December 21, 2015

Vox Media released the year in review; SB Nation hosted first-ever Piesman Trophy ceremony; Two podcasts made iTunes Best of 2015.

Vox Media released the 2015 year in review: a collection of highlights and favorite moments from The Verge, Vox.com, Eater, SB Nation, Polygon, Racked, Curbed, Re/code, the brand marketing division Vox Creative, and the technology and design backbone, Vox Product.

SB Nation announced the winner of the inaugural Piesman Trophy: Southeastern Louisiana's Ashton Henderson. At a ceremony in New York City, they celebrated the college lineman who made an awesome, un-lineman play this season and delighted fans everywhere. NBC Sports agreed: "What better dessert this time of year than a slice of pie. The folks at SB Nation have just what college football's award season needed by introducing The Piesman Trophy."

Longreads named the best of 2015 in a series that includes The Verge in Best Business & Tech; picks from SB Nation's longform editor Glenn Stout in Best Sports Writing; and features from SB Nation and Eater in No. 1 Story Picks this Year.

Polygon's Minimap and The Verge's What's Tech made the list of the iTunes Best Podcasts of 2015.
